【Taipei】As part of MSI Notebook global charity program, MSI Notebook launched first stop of the "Love with the Wind" promotion today in Taiwan.
A long-time supporter of social welfare and charitable activities, MSI plans to make its "Love with the Wind" charity program a worldwide initiative that will span regions such as Taiwan, China, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea and India. Through donations to the "MSI Wind Netbook Love Edition", the company will help to bridge the divide between children and people in poor remote areas and the rest of the world through the Internet while raising public awareness and support.
To show his support for public welfare, MSI Chairman Joseph Hsu personally took part in the "Citizen Computer Donation Ceremony" hosted by the Ministry of Education to deliver love to every corner of Taiwan.
Taiwan was the first stop of the "Love with the Wind" program and MSI has collaborated with the Digital Opportunity Center to donate MSI Wind Netbook Love Edition to elementary and junior high schools in remote areas. This donation will also contribute towards Ministry of Education and the Executive Yuan's efforts to reduce the digital divide, helping remote regions improve their level of education and digital access!
To support this global donation program, MSI Notebook also designed the MSI Wind Netbook Love Edition featuring bronze, silver and golden heart patterns on the pearl white MSI Wind Netbook. The new design emphasizes the company's commitment to spread love and contribute to the community, and symbolizes MSI Notebook's heart-warming concern for society.
In addition to the initial donations, MSI Notebook also wishes to continue promoting the concept for corporate social responsibility in the future. To this end, for every 100 Wind Netbooks sold between August 1 and October 31, MSI Notebook will deliver 1 free Wind Netbook Love Edition in the next round of donations. This is aimed at further boosting public awareness on the importance of charitable activities.
Apart from donating MSI Wind Netbook Love Edition, MSI Notebook also donated 3100 stylish computer bags to junior high school students from poor families as part of the Citizen Computer Project.
