As part of it global charity program, on 24 December 2008, MSI Notebooks donated 40 MSI Wind U100s to disabled students in Vietnam.
The event, jointly organized by MSI Notebooks, the Tuoi Tre Newspaper, and the HCMC Youth Alliance, was integrated into a program entitled “Vi ngay mai phat trien” (For the Development of Tomorrow) promoted by the Tuoi Tre Newspaper.
The donation of MSI Wind U100s to disabled students attracted many members of the local press
The MSI Wind U100s were specifically offered to physically disabled students from post-secondary schools in Hochimin City. Candidates who participate in extracurricular activities, study IT, are faced with financial difficulties, are orphans, or lack family support were given priority.
40 outstanding students, who overcame their disabilities and other hardships to earn high scores in college or university were selected to receive the MSI Wind U100s.

Representatives from MSI Notebooks, the Tuoi Tre Newspaper, and the HCMC Youth Alliance all gave speeches encouraging the students. The MSI Notebooks’ representative then presented the MSI Wind U100s.
After expressing their thanks when for the MSI Wind U100s, the students sang a song, expressing their ideals and optimism in life. .
